School Advisory Council (SAC)

The Sanibel School has an active School Advisory Council, or SAC. SAC meets approximately once each month and is composed of parents, teachers, administrators, and business and community representatives. SAC is responsible for developing and approving the annual School Improvement Plan.  The committee works closely with the principal and staff to advise and assist with educational needs, establish priorities, inform and advise school staff of community issues, and facilitate communication between the school, parents, and the community.

All interested parties are welcome to attend all SAC meetings. Meeting dates as well as summaries of each meeting are posted in the Monday Reporter. If a parent or member of the community would like to address SAC or has a concern that they would like SAC to discuss, please call or email Cozi Kelly.  The 2018-2019 SAC Chairperson will be elected the first meeting on August 23rd at 2:30.
