SCHOOL SUPPLY FEES
Thank you so much for all your school supply donations to each classroom. The teachers appreciate it! If you have not had a chance to pay for your child’s classroom supplies, forms are available on our website.

SAC MEETING
Our first School Advisory Council meeting is on Tuesday at 2:30-3:30 via zoom. Any parent or business partner who would like to join us are welcome. Please email Jamie Reid (Jamiebr@leeschools.net) if you are interested in attending.

PARENT PICK-UP/DROP  OFF
We want to thank families and guardians for being supportive and patient with all the new procedures this school year.  In order to promote a timely drop off and student pick up, we request that students be able to exit/enter the vehicles on the side nearest the school rather than walking around a vehicle.  We have several students that have siblings in carseats blocking their exit requiring them to walk around their vehicle to enter the school.  We also need families to remain in the vehicle.  If your child needs assistance our staff is available to assist.  We also ask that families not park or drop off students at the Rec Center.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS
The middle school schedule is back to normal! This means that Monday will include Mentor Time with slightly shorter academic classes. On Tuesday- Friday students will follow longer academic periods with no Mentor Time. Please refer to the middle school schedule posted on our school website.

MEASURING ATTENDANCE DURING COVID-19
With COVID-19, taking daily attendance and monitoring absenteeism is essential. Absenteeism is a leading indicator of educational inequity. A wealth of research shows chronic absence (missing 10% or more of the school year) predicts being less likely to read proficiently by third grade, pass courses in middle school, or graduate from high school.
