BIG ARTS “TALKING POINTS” SERIES TACKLES IMMUNIZATION On Tuesday, March 10, at 4 pm, the last event in this year’s Big Arts” Talking Points” series at the Strauss Theater (2200 Periwinkle Way) will tackle the basic health question of when, how, and whether a child or adult should be vaccinated against infectious diseases. SPRING SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR COMING SOON TO THE MEDIA CENTER!!
The week of March 30th our very own Media Center will be holding a fun and exciting Book Fair!  We will start the week with a preview day for all our students and end the week with opportunities to purchase items.  The Book Fair will be open during regular school hours and all are welcome to come and shop!  We will be open for business the afternoon/evening of April 2nd in conjunction with the Spring Music Showcase as well!  All the proceeds from the Book Fair will go towards purchasing new books for our Media Center! Volunteers are needed to help set-up the fair and to help guide our students through their shopping experience!  Please contact Heather Williams heatherlw@leeschools.net if you can volunteer your time. 8th GRADE PROMOTION PLANNING MEETING
Parents, if you are a parent of an 8th grader and would like to help with planning the promotion ceremony and reception this year, please contact Jamie Reid at Jamiebr@leeschools.net. We will have parent meeting in March to begin planning for this very memorable event!

SPRING TESTING SCHEDULE/STUDENT SNACK DONATIONS

Parents, please review the spring 2020 testing schedule with your child that was sent home last week and please make every effort for your child to be present and on time on the testing dates. Testing will start first thing each day. IT’S TEE TIME!  Sign Up NOW for The Sanibel School Fund’s Blue Ribbon Golf Classic & Celebration on Saturday, May 9th! Support your school’s STEM program and help us hit our $100,000 annual goal to strengthen our children’s education!  Join us on at The Sanctuary Golf Club on Saturday, May 9 for our annual springtime Blue Ribbon Golf Classic, which also serves as our year-end donor appreciation event. A noontime round of golf is followed by an always-enjoyable cocktail party, dinner, silent and live auction, and dancing to a D.J.!  Lunch and Registration begin at 11 am; Tee time at Noon; Cocktails and Dinner begin at 5 pm.  Please email TheSanibelSchoolFund@gmail.com or call Jeff Muddell at 321-217-3946 for more information or to sign up!

SANIBEL SCHOOL’S SEAHORSE FESTIVAL...SATURDAY, MARCH 28TH!!! (on school property)

(watch for posters/flyers soon!!!) This is going to be EPIC time...don't miss it!!!

We need silent auction items!  Look for an email for volunteer sign-ups!!!  This can only be successful with all your help!!!

***Please consider being part of the PTA Board...our time is ending, and we are in search of parents to take over for the next school year.  The current board will still be involved and assist the new board (no worries-we have a plan!)

It is a lot of work...but, fun and sooo rewarding!!!
