CITIZENS OF THE WEEK

Students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade earn Sea Horse tickets for good behavior, helpful attitude, and an eagerness to learn. Each week we select a Sea Horse ticket winner from these classes.  These students get to come to the office and select a prize from our prize cabinet. The following students are this week’s citizens of the week: Natalya Sampas, Ernesto Del Valle, Riley Sullivan, and Korynn Livermon.  Congratulations!

FSA READING ASSESSMENT

Students in grades 4 through 8 will be taking the FSA Reading Assessment on Wednesday, April 19th and Thursday, April 20th. It is important that students get plenty of rest the night before and have a good breakfast. Other important reminders include:

FSA BOOT CAMP

Our Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) tests are quickly approaching. The FSA is one measure of a student’s achievement of Florida’s education standards, which were developed and implemented to ensure that all students are ready for success in college, careers, and life. The test results allow me to determine whether the grade level goals are being met and if my students are ready to move on to the next level. I have invited my students to join me for one night to review skills that they may need a little help prior to testing. We will start right after school and work until 6:30 p.m. During that time, I will be providing a review and games that are aligned with skills needed for the FSA. We will take some time out for snacks and breaks. The boot camp is free to any student. The dates are 6th grade- April 25, 7th grade-April 26th, 8th Grade Pre- Algebra -April 20th and Algebra is on April 18th
