We are so proud of our students and got to celebrate our A/B honor roll kids with a barbeque last week.  We also celebrated 1-5 students last week with a pool party for meeting their goals.   We have attached a list of these students.  Please join us in congratulating your child on a job well done.

The Sanibel School traditionally uses this day as a day to celebrate and promote a love of reading through storybook characters.  We would like to invite our K and 1 families to come watch the parade at 8:30AM.  Kinder and first grade will host a storybook parade, and the students will walk across the stage.  This is a great time to capture that special picture of your child here at school.  Please send them with the book their character came from as well.

Grades 2-8 will be allowed to wear appropriate pajamas to school this day to help celebrate getting comfy and reading.   This has been a tradition at the Sanibel School for years, and the kids seem to really enjoy it.   Please be looking for a note from your child’s teacher in regards to what else is needed.

Students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade earn Sea Horse tickets for good behavior, helpful attitude, and an eagerness to learn. Each week we select a Sea Horse ticket winner from these classes.  These students get to come to the office and select a prize from our prize cabinet. The following students are this week’s citizens of the week: Marlow Plassard, Chloe Selby, Mariia Zacharievich, and Ernest Del Valle. Congratulations!
